With a diversified career in corporate finance and investments, Victor Almeida is the Director of Investments at Piemonte, where he leads the M&A area of the group. Under his leadership, Piemonte has significantly expanded its operations in the sector of digital infrastructure and other strategic industries.
In his current role, he supervises M&A negotiations, coordinates multi-functional teams and manages post-transaction activities for proprietary and third-party mergers and acquisitions. He was fundamental in the financing and management of the first equity investment fund (EIF) of the Piemonte Group, focused on digital infrastructure.
Victor co-led negotiations with creditors for the financing of the acquisition of the assets of the Elea data centers, managing the post-negotiation transition. He is responsible for the raising of capital, both through debt and equity, and prepares financial structures and models to evaluate new acquisitions and business opportunities.
He has a degree in Economics and Finance from Louisiana Christian University and an MBA in Financial Management from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. Victor was nominated for the Under-35 Digital Infrastructure Finance Talent Award by The Tech Capital, standing out as one of the main emerging talents in the area of finance for digital infrastructure.
